An Evening with Special Guest Victoria Cary
August 5 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Victoria has been practicing insight meditation and studying the Dharma since 2006. She is a graduate of the 4-year Teacher Training programs at Spirit Rock Meditation Center as well as the Community Dharma Leaders program. Victoria is the co-founder and one of the core teachers of San Francisco People of Color Insight Sangha. She has worked as a volunteer at Zen Hospice where she is exploring how developing a relationship with impermanence and death can bring us more fully alive. Victoria states that she loves the Dhamma and is interested in supporting people in their practice by focusing on integrating Dhamma into everyday life. Her identity as a queer, bi-racial black woman informs her approach to teaching the Dhamma as she seeks to support a kind internal and external investigation of our complex human experience.
