Special Guest Teacher Victoria Cary
November 29, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
NVIM is now meeting at the NVUU in-person only on Tuesdays at 7:00pm. Following the current COVID guidelines in our community, masks will be optional. Full vaccination is strongly recommended to attend. (See complete Guidelines below).
This Tuesday evenings sangha will be led by special quest Victoria Cary. Victoria has been practicing insight meditation and studying the Dharma since 2006. She is currently in Retreat Teacher Training at Spirit Rock Meditation Center, where she previously graduated from the Community Dharma Leaders program. Victoria is the co-founder and one of the core teachers of San Francisco People of Color Insight Sangha. She has worked as a volunteer at Zen Hospice and is particularly interested in the integration of the Dharma in everyday life.
NVIM COVID Guidelines for Attendance (updated 10/1/22):
- Full vaccination (2 COVID shots and at least booster) is strongly recommended.
- Social distancing between chairs will be maintained for those who choose.
- Masks are OPTIONAL. If you feel comfortable, you do not need to wear a mask. If you are a vulnerable person, or live with a vulnerable person, consider wearing a well-fitting mask during sangha.
When NOT to attend sangha:
- If you have tested positive for COVID, until the 11th day after your symptoms first started or you tested positive (whichever comes first). This is in an abundance of caution and consideration for our older sangha members and those with chronic health conditions.
- If you have any symptoms of COVID, unless you have had a valid negative test.
- If you have been exposed to COVID, until you have tested on day 5 and are negative.
